I мейд this up myself as a healthy alternative to these toasted mushroom raviolis I was introduced to. I мейд up the recipe, so it is not exact…you can be flexible.
Servings: 1
Ingredients:
Makes 1 serving (multiply for more):
Mushrooms (fresh, about 1/2 c chopped)
2T fat free cream cheese
8 wonton wrappers
1/4 c seasoned bread crumbs
marinara sauce (for dipping)
Pam, or other spray for pan
egg white or egg sub. (optional)
Directions:
Spray a large pan, and then spray the mushrroms, sautee until soft,
transfer mushrooms to a bowl and mix with the cream cheese,
drop about 1 t of mushroom mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper,
wet the egde of each wrapper and fold to seal.
Either spray the wontons with Pam or brush with egg,
and coat with bread crumbs,
put the wontons back in the pan and cook each side until golden.
Serve with marinara sauce.
