Apple Pumpkin Bread recipe - Healthy Diet, Low Fat diet Recipes

Notes:
A great recipe I modified by adding whole wheat flour and cutting sugar and oil in half.  It was originally a muffin recipe, but I make it like a bread in a 9 x 13 pan for ease.

Servings: 12


Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 TB pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup natural applesauce
2 cups chopped apples


Directions:
Combine all the dry ingredients. Combine all the wet ingredients. Add wet to dry just until combined. Fold in apples. Pour in a sprayed 9 x 13 pan, bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until tests done.
240 calories, 6 g fat
