Notes:
peas and pineapples mixed together in a wonderful warmed dish
Servings: 3-6; 64 cal
Ingredients:
10 oz. bag of frozen peas
1 1/2 cups chopped pineapple un-drained
1 tbs. sugar
1/4 tps. salt
1/8 tps. pepper
2 tbs. stick margarine
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Pour frozen peas into a one quart baking dish
3. Add your chopped un-drained pineapple to peas and mix with hands until peas and pineapple are evenly distributed
4. Add 1 tbs. sugar, 1/4tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper and stir
5. Cut 2 tbs. worth stick margarine into small pieces and lay on top of mixture; cover the dish
6. Put into the oven and bake for 30 min.
7. Remove stir and serve
NOTE: This recipe is wonderful with the Orange Marmalade Chicken Breasts! I always pair them together!
