Notes:
Really easy and great to replace any impulsive bad eating! I was starving and thought I would break down and go to Del Taco. But fortunately my tomato plant was producing abundantly. Over here in California they have Nopales tortillas which are мейд from the Nopales cactus. A lot healthier for you and SUPER low in calories. I think each tortilla is 25 calories. So I bought those and cut each small tortilla into 8 wedges. Put aluminum foil on a baking sheet and spray with a cooking spray (Pam) or whatever. And put the wedges on the foil so that they’re not touching and spray the cooking spray again lightly over the ‘chips’. Salt or what I like to use is a salt-free alternative. Set the oven to 350 and when it’s ready put the baking sheet in for 12-17 minutes. While they are baking make some salsa. You can make it as spicy or not spicy as you want. The good thing about homemade salsa is that it is so much better for you and you will feel so good that you didn’t mess up your diet!
Servings: 2-3
Ingredients:
Nopales tortillas (6-8)
Big Red tomatoes (2)
Onion (white or green)
Cilantro
Serrano or Jalapeno
Directions:
I think they're in the description! Well I'll say how I мейд the salsa. Cut the tomatoes in diced form, cut up some green onions or a white onion. Pull off the cilantro leaves, as many as you want and throw them in there. I like it spicy so I added Serrano pepper. Probably a third to a half of it. It's spicy! Add salt to it if you want to Wait for your chips and you're golden!
