Lemon-Lime Pico De Gallo recipe -

Notes:
This is wonderful for cheese crisp, quesadillas or corn chips. It is also wonderul with grilled chicken, salmon, shark, swordfish and steak. You might even try this in a wrap.

Servings: 10


Ingredients:
3 Vine Ripe Tomatoes
1 Medium White Onion
1 Large Avacado
1 Bunch Green Onions and/or Scallions
1 Bunch Cilantro
1 Medium Fresh Jalepeno Pepper
2 Cloves of Garlic
2 Medium Limes
1 Large Lemon
Salt & Pepper


Directions:
Adding each ingredient to the bowl:
Dice the tomatoes in small to medium pieces depending on preference. Dice both the white onion and the avacado in the same way. Thinly slice the green onions using the green and even the white of the bulb. Finely chop the cilantro (some stems are okay). Dice the jalepeno in very small almost fine pieces. Dice the cloves of garlic in the same way or use a garlic press. Squeeze the limes including the pulp (but remove the seeds) into the bowl. Do the same with the lemon. Thoroughly mix all ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste. You can serve once prepared or chill if preferred. The liquid also makes a great marinade for grilled chicken, fish or steak.
