100 calorie butter-garlic toast recipe - Diabetes diet, Diet, Easy Diet, Healthy Diet Recipes

Notes:
garlic toast мейд with lite bread (40 calories per slice) real unsalted butter, and fresh garlic, toasted until golden brown, мейд to serve with spaghetti, make ahead, serve some, freeze the rest, each piece should be approximately 100 calories

Servings: 14-28


Ingredients:
2 sticks of real butter (unsalted)
28 slices of white, light bread (about 1 and 1/2 loaves of bread )
2 cloves of fresh pressed garlic, peeled ( use a "garlic press," it's easier )


Directions:
pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
peel and press 2 whole cloves of garlic
melt 2 sticks of butter
lay 28 pieces of light bread on the counter


place a pinch of garlic on each piece of bread, and spread it out
using a brush, brush each piece of bread with butter


serve some with a spaghetti dinner or other dinner that goes well with garlic bread
freeze the rest
dividing each piece with plastic or aluminum foil so the slices don't stick together


you can use 'day old' bread for this to save money
because bread will be toasted


serve some with spaghetti
