Tasty tuna topped ciabatta bread - Italiano! recipe - Low Fat diet Recipes

Notes:
I мейд up this recipe after having something similar in italian restraunt, it’s great as a starter or a main course. It’s really tasty and low fat too! It’s ciabatta bread topped with delivious tuna mix served with a side salad.

Servings: 2

Ingredients:
For two people:
3 tins tuna fish in brine
1 onion
low fat pesto
tup of low fat creme fraiche (or fromage frais)
salt & pepper
Dried or fresh herbs like oregano, corriander, basil
splash of balsamic
2 garlic cloves
sweetcorn

part bake ciabatta bread
Some bagged italian salad

Directions:
In a mixing bowl, mix up the tuna and spoon in the creme fraiche, adjust it to how creamy/moist you want your topping to be. Chop onions and garlic and throw in. Add a splash of balsamic vinegar and ad a dessert spoon of pesto. If you have dried or fresh herbs like basil, oregano etc then just a few in too. Add salt and pepper. Put a handful of sweetcorn (depending on how much corn you want in it) and give it a big stir.

Take your ciabatta bread and put it in the oven till t's browned. Cut lengthways and divide up into suitable portions. While hot spoon the tuna mixture on and serve with a side salad.
